This subject is not much spoken in the WT community, or any other religion, how can they reconcilled a God that allowed all these things yet believe in the exact contrast that is Jesus teachings?

Even though thats the case, the same as me, I am being somewhat shunned, but thats because the devil is in me (sarcasm)and I speak things they dont like to hear when asked... all in good intentions.
And jw's speak things that the bible is silent, others misunderstood, a lot of them, 1914, Michael, World Powers, Blood, Birthdays, Field Ministry, heavenly hope and earthly hope, Porneia etc etc etc.... even the trinity that they gloss over.
If you really want to know what new light is all about, read captives of a concept.

There was an episode of judge Judy, she fined someone for calling the police when it was not necessary, because the police can be more needed in other areas of urgency rather than settling something minor such as what he/she said, the FBI should do the same.

Apostates were people who speak against the teachings of Moses, I guess we all are apostates then. But they mean the english dictionary version of apostates, one that is not mentioned in the bible, then how can they support this idea of shunning when its not scriptural, and how can one just leave without being shut down by their family?
But you know what, you can see who ever wrote this knows wb&ts is a false prophet because they are using so much twisted propaganda its not funny anymore, they know what they are writting does not make any logical sense, its not in scripture and if they are the truth then why are they so scared? Can they open their bibles and explain why Russell used pyramidology, why Rutherford told everyone in 1942 for every couple to abstain from having children, why Rutherford said he's gods mouth piece and how the bible supports this view of some organization that started in the late 18th century to be gods mouth piece, why their old KJV differs from the NWT..... Its simple, they can't and ITS A CULT.

by summerinvincible insorry if this isn't the right place to post this - brand new member here.. i recently caught up with an old friend who is a jw.
she's been witnessing to me, and i've accepted all her handouts because i don't want to hurt her feelings.
but now she's asking me for my "thoughts" about what i've read so far.

before seeking the truth they have to realise they dont have it, once they realise it along comes the decadence into reality. if they think they have the truth I think your wasting your time, its tricky but doable, its hard doing this without raising a red flag, it depends how well you know the person, I know my old folks since yonks and still its very hard, now they shut up when the conversation leads to something against JW's teachings but there have been cracks.
